The DOC has adjusted anti-dumping tariffs on Vietnamese frozen shrimp at the 9th initial administrative review.

The average tariff has been reduced to below 1%, lower than at the 8th review. Among 56 fishery companies under the initial review, one fishery company will be subjected to a tax rate of 0%, 4 companies will be taxed over 1%, and the rest will be taxed at 0.93%. The DOC is scheduled to make a final decision in July. A representative from the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors said that although this was a positive sign, the anti-dumping tariff was unfair and the Association will continue sending its objection to the DOC.
