Theresa May maintains strong lead in weekend opinion polls
(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Theresa May and her Conservative Party maintained a strong lead in opinion polls ahead of next month's national election.

Opinium poll showed Conservatives 16 percentage points ahead of Labour. But a YouGov poll for the Sunday Times newspaper put them 19 points ahead, a six-point gain in the last week. An ORB poll had Conservatives extending their lead over Labour by four points to 15 percent.
