Top leader To Lam meets voters in Hung Yen

(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary and President To Lam and a delegation of National Assembly deputies, met with voters in Van Giang district Hung Yen province on Thursday to inform voters of the agenda for the upcoming 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, set to open next week, and to address their concerns and recommendations submitted to the National Assembly.

In response to voters' concerns regarding anti-corruption efforts, General Secretary and President To Lam promised to strengthen the institutions to prevent and combat corruption and negativity. He also highlighted the importance of enhancing public awareness through information, education, and  communication about anti-corruption measures. Lam stressed the need to improve the effectiveness of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, saying waste prevention would also remain a focus for authorities.

During the meeting, To Lam addressed voters' recommendations on establishing appropriate management mechanisms to enhance the roles and responsibilities of the State, investors, and the public in urban development.

On this occasion, General Secretary and President To Lam visited and presented gifts to families who contributed to the revolution, as well as to disadvantaged households in Long Hung commune, Van Giang district. He also presented donated 50 sets of computers to Van Giang district.
