“One of the most valuable lessons we have learned over the past 3 years is building and promoting internal strength to cope with external challenges and uncertainties. A key and consistent task is to promote internal resources and make full use of external resources to facilitate adaptation and development,” said Mr. Hue.

Le Hong Thuy Tien, CEO of the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) asked the Government to create better conditions for businesses to develop.

“We have managed to get past numerous challenges and have confidence in the Party, National Assembly and Government. We look forward to a more favorable legal corridor to grow further,” she said.

Jochen Schmittmann, Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Vietnam, said the Vietnamese economy will rebound, particularly the export and real estate sectors. As Vietnam is badly affected by the interrupted global supply chain, it needs appropriate responses including tighter monetary policies, he said.
