(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has praised the HCM Communist Youth Union’s idea to link this year’s Youth Month with digital transformation.

Working with the Union’s Secretariat on Tuesday, Chairman Hue cited Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s speech last year, saying that young people must be pioneers in production, innovation, and national digital transformation.
He noted that digital transformation will be a major topic at a conference for global young parliamentarians to be held in Vietnam this year.
“The Youth Union should be fully aware of its role, position, and mission to take the lead in national construction and defense," said Mr. Hue, noting "It’s crucial to uphold young people’s patriotism and nurture their passion and aspirations to build a happy and prosperous nation.”
