Touching handwritten letter from wife of Lao Party chief

(VOVWORLD) -Hearing about the passing of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, Naly Sisoulith, the wife of General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, on Wednesday sent a handwritten letter of condolences to Ngo Thi Man, the wife of General Secretary Trong.

In the letter, Ms. Naly Sisoulith expressed her deep condolences to General Secretary Trong's wife, saying that despite the daily heavy workload, Mr. Trong had a deep affection for the country and people of Laos. She recalled her fond memories with Ms. Man during the Laos visits by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and his wife.
According to the wife of Laos’ top leader, although the Vietnamese General Secretary has passed away, the close bond between her and Mr. Trong's wife will remain forever.
