Tourism Week of Northwestern Region opens in HCM City
(VOVWORLD) -Culture and Tourism Week of Dien Bien and the Northwestern Region opened on Monday in HCM City to promote tourism development.

The program includes conferences on tourism promotion, Bauhinia tree planting, art exchange programs, street carnivals, and a photo exhibition called “From the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954 to the great victory in Spring 1975”.
There is a culture space of Vietnam’s northwestern region where visitors can experience the cultures of ethnic groups such as the Thai, Mong, Ha Nhi, and Dao.
Maksim, a Russian visitor, told VOV that he is interested in Vietnam's ethnic groups and hopes to better understand the country.
