(VOVWORLD) -Attractions across Vietnam were packed with holiday makers during the 3-day National Day holiday from Saturday to Monday.

The UNESCO-recognized Ha Long Bay welcomed tens of thousands of tourists including more than 10,000 foreigners.
“Most of foreign visitors came from China and the Republic of Korea. We have well prepared for a surge in the number of visitors this year,” To Hai Nam, Vice Director General of the Tuan Chau group, told VOV.
In the past 3 days, the Mekong River city of Can Tho received 76,000 visitors, up 60% compared with the same period last year, while nearly 20,000 tourists visited Cham islet in the central province of Quang Nam.
