Trade Union offers gifts to ensure happy Tet for workers
(VOVWORLD) - Gifts and prizes worth 80,000 USD were presented to workers in Hanoi at an event on Saturday to welcome the upcoming traditional Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The “Tet Reunion” program was organized by the Hanoi municipal trade union. Participants also joined a Chung cake (square sticky rice cake) wrapping contest.
“The Tet Reunion program is part of efforts to ensure a happy Tet for all trade union members. We’ll provide transportation for them to return home for Tet,” said Le Dinh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Federation of Labor.
The Federation has cooperated with businesses to provide 80,000 gifts and bus tickets worth 2.6 million USD to poor workers to enjoy this year’s Tet.
