(VOVworld) – The Golden Heart Fund of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Labor Federation of Phu Yen province have provided financial support to families of the martyrs in the battle on Gac Ma island in Truong Sa archipelago in 1988. The money will be used to help these families repair their houses. Tra Vinh’s authorities on Thursday visited and presented gifts to more than 100 families of outstanding social beneficiaries in Ngai Hung commune, Tieu Can district. These people protected and supported former leaders of the province during the war of resistance.
