Trump expressed his desire to reach an agreement with Iran through negotiations, emphasizing that such an agreement will enhance regional and global security. He cautioned that, should Iran reject an agreement and continue its attacks on neighboring countries, the US will intensify its maximum pressure policy, aiming to eliminate Iranian oil exports and cripple the Iranian economy.
Addressing the Gaza conflict, Trump said his administration is working to secure the release of the remaining hostages and bring an end to the war, saying the people of Gaza deserve a better future, but that can’t be achieved while Hamas remains in power.
