(VOVworld) - A Turkish court has acquitted the last 62 military officers jailed over an alleged 2003 plot to oust then-prime minister Tayyip Erdogan after the judge said digital evidence was inadmissible, a defense lawyer said. In 2012, a court sentenced the officers to jail over the alleged "Sledgehammer" conspiracy dating back to 2003, a year after Erdogan's Justice and Development Party came to power. Erdogan is now president.
