The Turkish leader said 44 per cent of the grain passing through the “solidarity corridor” goes to European countries, while Turkey and Africa each gets 14 per cent.

Russia agreed to supply one million tons of grain to 6 African countries, after withdrawing from its Black Sea Grain deal with Ukraine in July. Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that one million metric tons of Russian grain will arrive in Africa in the coming weeks, which Turkey previously agreed to handle.
