Two Koreas resume talks on Kaesong industrial park
(VOVworld)- The two Koreas have resumed talks on managing their Kaesong joint industrial zone. This is the first talks on Kaesong between the two sides after 6 months of suspension due to increasing tension on the Korean Peninsula. Speaking to reporters prior to the talks, South Korea's chief delegate Lee Kang-Woo welcomed the resumption of discussions. He said the meeting serves as an opportunity to inspect the tasks of developing and normalising the complex. He said Seoul is particularly keen to discuss the creation of a proper Internet connection and freeing up movement in and out of Kaesong, which lies 10 kilometres over the border in North Korea.
