(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Consulate in Guangzhou announced on Monday that 2 Vietnamese fishing vessels from the central provinces with 13 fishermen on board are being detained by China in Hainan province. The fishermen are in good health. The Vietnamese embassy in Beijing and the Consulate in Guangzhou are working with relevant Chinese agencies to address the issue in order to quickly repatriate the fishermen and their vessels.
