Two Vietnamese teams enter WhiteHat Grand Prix final round
(VOVWORLD) - The WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 with the theme of Vietnam Today has attracted a record number of participants with 739 teams from 84 countries and territories since its launch on December 6th, 2019.
The contest is part of Vietnam’s target to become an information sharing and cyber security hub in ASEAN and gradually a world power in cyber security.
After the online primary round, 10 teams with the highest scores will attend the final round expected to take place in Hanoi next month. The top 10 teams are three from the US, two from Vietnam, two from South Korea, and one each from Russia, India, and Germany.
They will compete for a 1st prize of 10,000 USD, a 2nd prize of 2,000 USD, a 3rd prize of 1,000 USD. Other teams will have the opportunity to get awards for each bug they find.
