UK not planning second Brexit vote

(VOVWORLD) - British education minister Damian Hinds said on Sunday that the government is not planning a second referendum, denying reports that ministers are looking at such a vote to break the current deadlock over Brexit.

Hinds described Prime Minister Theresa May’s deal to the leave the European Union as a “balanced” agreement that lawmakers should support.

Ms. May postponed the final parliamentary vote on her Brexit deal after a last-minute conference call with cabinet ministers for fear the deal "would be rejected by a significant margin”.
