UK proposes EU treaty to protect security ties
(VOVWORLD) - Britain will propose a new post-Brexit security pact to fight terrorism, Home Secretary Amber Rudd said on Saturday.

He revealed no further detail about the proposal. The statement was made a day after Britain was hit by a terrorist attack at Parson's Green station in western London. Police hunting the London tube bomber have arrested an 18-year-old man in Dover who was suspected of standing behind the attack which injured 29 people. The UK remained at its highest state of terrorism alert and the Islamic State claimed responsibility for its 5th attack in the UK.
