The Security Council called on North Korea to take immediate action to ease tensions and called on other countries to implement current sanctions against North Korea, but proposed no new sanctions.
North Korean President Kim Jong-un called for more missile tests, reported the Korean Central News Agency. Mr. Kim was pleased with the latest test and North Korea will monitor the US response and base its future actions on that response, KCNA reported.
