(VOVworld) – The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has been supporting the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs in a project to achieve the national target of sustainable poverty reduction in 8 pilot provinces.

The project in the 2012-2016 period is helping reduce poverty and improve living conditions for the poor and ethnic minorities in Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, and Tra Vinh provinces. When the project concludes, poverty reduction solutions will be included in development plans and a policy framework.
