UNDP pledges further supports for anti-corruption in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - The UN Development Programme and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam have held a consultation workshop in Hanoi to review anti-corruption  at the provincial level.

In her opening speech, UNDP Deputy Country Director in Vietnam, Akiko Fujii, pledged further efforts in supporting anti-corruption in Vietnam: “The 2018 Anti-Corruption Law will take effect this July. We will review 2 years of anti-corruption performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and recommend instructive information. Those efforts demonstrate Vietnam’s commitment to realising the Sustainable Development Goal 16, which aims to substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms.”
