(VOVworld) – The UN Security Council is committed to fighting global terrorism and preserving the world’s peace and security. After a high-level session in New York on Wednesday, the council issued a statement urging all countries to improve their capacity of dealing with foreign terrorist threats and preventing terrorists’ travel between nations.
The council also called for a business boycott on the Islamic State and other extremist groups while stopping paying ransom for hostages.
