In a joint statement, the two nations said the new deal will be called the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and will give workers, farmers, ranchers, and businesses a high-standard trade agreement. The document, which will ensure freer markets, fairer trade and robust economic growth in the region, governs more than one trillion USD in trade.
