US close to deal with Taliban
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump said Thursday that the US is close to signing a peace deal with Taliban forces in Afghanistan.

He said on a radio program that there is a good chance of reaching a deal and the result will come in 2 weeks. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the US and the Taliban have been negotiating a peace agreement for 7 days.
