The NBA has become the first US professional sports league to host a sports exchange in Cuba since the two countries began restoration of their diplomatic ties in January.Two Cuban players and a coach will be chosen for “Basketball Without Borders”, a camp operated by the NBA and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to develop international talents.
Joining the push for normalization of US-Cuba diplomatic ties, US rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers has expressed a wish to perform in Cuba, said guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
