(VOVworld) – 47-year-old Scott Walker officially announced Monday to launch his presidential bid.
Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has become the 15th Republican Party candidate to enter the race for US president in 2016. He was elected Wisconsin governor in 2010 and re-elected in November last year.
Walker has brought about a series of reform plans which are considered conservative in the Wisconsin state, including tax cut, law on labor right, law on abortion ban and other laws aimed at tightening the state’s regulation.
Following Walker’s footsteps, another Republican Party’s candidate, Ohio governor John Kasich is scheduled to announce his presidential bid by the end of the month.
