(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump will discuss a permanent and durable peace-keeping mechanism on the Korean peninsula and its denuclearization, North Korean state media KCNA said on Monday.
US and North Korean officials met in Singapore on Monday ahead of the historic summit on Tuesday. Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong held separate meetings with President Trump and leader Kim the same day.
Lee and Kim discussed bilateral relations and the recent situation on the Korean peninsula.
