US, Ukraine continue to discuss peace plan
(VOVWORLD) - US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner have met with Ukraine's Minister of National Security and Chairman of the National Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, along with General Andriy Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army.

This marks their sixth meeting in the past two weeks as part of the efforts to advance a peace plan drafted by the US.
During the talks on Friday at a secret location in Miami, the US and Ukraine reviewed the outcomes of a recent meeting between the US and Russia in Moscow and discussed potential steps toward ending the conflict. High on the agenda were also as post-conflict reconstruction and bilateral economic cooperation.
The two sides described the discussions as "constructive", emphasizing their shared goal of achieving a lasting and fair peace for Ukraine.
