US will not lift sanctions on Iran, Biden says
(VOVWORLD) - US President Joe Biden said during an interview Sunday with CBS News that the US will not remove sanctions on Iran in order to bring Iran back to negotiations on resuming the JCPOA nuclear deal.

Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei has said Iran will only return to compliance if the US first lifts all economic sanctions.
Khamenei said on Twitter that Iran has fully complied with its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal.
Iran has been increasing its stockpile of enriched uranium, but insist its nuclear program is peaceful.
