The President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee sent a letter of congratulations to the Khmer people on their Chol Chnam Thmay New Year Festival. In the letter, Huynh Dam called on the Khmer people to continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, and to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example and successfully carry out socio-economic tasks set for this year toward a prosperous, democratic, and civilized society.
