(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan visited and extended his Christmas greetings to the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity on Tuesday. He praised efforts by the committee’s affiliates across Vietnam to encourage  Catholic followers to take part in emulation movements and building new rural areas.

Leaders of An Giang and Hau Giang province visited local Catholics and wished them a happy Christmas season. They praised the contributions of Catholics to local socio-economic development and urged them to continue to lead good religious and secular lives.
