(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan has visited and congratulated staff members of the VietNamNet online newspaper on the occasion of the 90^th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press on June 21. This was one of Vietnam’s first online newspapers, which was established in 1997.

Mr. Nhan praised the newspaper’s development and said he hoped that Vietnamese media organizations will continue to renovate their forms of communication. He also suggested the VietNamNet organize a discussion on 30 years of renewal, through which the Vietnam Fatherland Front will discuss with readers possible ways to boost national socio-economic development.
