In Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, one of the areas hardest hit by flooding in 2020, the Vice President applauded the courageous response of local people. She said she expects more funding from donors to build flood-resistant works and increase the sustainability of local subsistence.
Then Vice President Xuan attended the inauguration of a wind energy plant in Quang Ninh district, offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at a temple in Dong Hoi city, and visited the General Vo Nguyen Giap memorial house in Le Thuy district.
