Vietnam adds 5 new COVID-19 cases, all imported

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported 5 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the national tally to 1,054. 

All the new cases are imported and were sent to quarantine facilities immediately upon arrival. 868 patients have recovered and 35 have died.   

Vietnam has gone five days with no domestic infections. Ho Chi Minh city has stayed clean for 36 days and the record is 20 days for Hanoi.
