Vietnam aims to become center for AI solution and application development in ASEAN by 2030
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang said that artificial intelligence has become one of the key technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, playing a crucial role in transforming the world and people’s lives.

Mr. Quang, who is also Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, was speaking at the 2024 Artificial Intelligence Festival (AI4VN) held in Hanoi on Friday.
“The Prime Minister has issued a national strategy on AI research, development, and application until 2030 to make AI a vital technological sector for Vietnam. Under the strategy, Vietnam will become a center for innovation and the development of AI solutions and applications in ASEAN by 2030,” he said.
The festival also featured an award ceremony honoring outstanding AI products, solutions, and platforms in Vietnam in 2024.
