Vietnam aims to make tourism spearhead economic sector
(VOVWORLD) -The Government has announced an Action Program to implement a Politburo Resolution on making tourism a spearhead economic sector.
The program urges for strengthened promotion of Vietnam land and people. It asks localities to restructure their tourism sector and mobilized resources for tourism development.
The Action Program underlines the need to revise the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam and the 2014 Investment Law 2014 to create a breakthrough for the tourism industry. It mentions the need to increase investment in tourism infrastructure and create a favorable environment for travel companies.
