Vietnam Airlines uses Boeing 787-10 on Vietnam-South Korea route
(VOVWORLD) - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has put the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner into service on the route between Vietnam and South Korea.
The 787-10, the largest-body long-haul aircraft in Vietnam at present, features ultra-efficient technology and passenger-pleasing comforts. It is longer than the 787-9 jets, with ample space to carry 15 percent more passengers and more cargo, thus helping it offer the lowest operating costs per seat of any twin-aisle jet in service today.
Half a million Vietnamese visited South Korea last year, marking a rise of 40 percent from 2017. Meanwhile, Vietnam welcomed nearly 3.5 million Koreans, in a surge of 44 percent year-on-year. South Korea has become the second largest market in Vietnamese tourism.
