(VOVworld) -  Vietnam is now ranked 11 out of the 57 best countries for expats, moving up 24 notches against last year’s rankings.

The InterNations, an expat networking website, surveyed 14,000 people who had left their countries to work elsewhere else to find out where people are happiest.

The survey accounted for different factors, such as ease of settling in, quality of life, and cost of living to decide on the rankings of countries.

This year, China’s Taiwan ranks first in the Quality of Life and Personal Finance Indices. It’s followed by Malta, Ecuador, Mexico, and New Zealand.

Established in 2007, InterNations has 2.4 million members in 390 cities worldwide.
