(VOVworld) - A Vietnam-Indonesia tourism forum held in Jakarta on Tuesday has helped tourist agencies of both countries to establish partnerships.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Nguyen Xuan Thuy noted their strong bilateral cooperation and its untapped potential. Representatives from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) talked about the Indonesian government’s policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), especially in the tourism field. The forum was the first activity to further Vietnam-Indonesia tourism cooperation. Their many similarities in geography and culture give the two countries substantial potential to develop their tourism sectors.
