Vietnam attends 19th International Mediation Competition

(VOVWORLD) -  The 19th International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Mediation Competition opened in Paris on Sunday drawing 350 students and coaches from 30 countries and 160 experts and mediators.

3 Vietnamese students Bui Ngoc Linh, Ta Mai Chi and Pham Phuong Anh attended the event. Tạ Mai Chi said: “Participating in the ICC competition, we will work with members of other teams to address international trade problems. We will try to find the best solutions to the issues raised by the organizing board. This is the first time that we have been in an international, professional environment.”

During five days, Vietnamese students along with those from 47 other teams compete in random situations. After six rounds of the competition, the champion will be found.

The ICC International Mediation Competition is the world’s largest international law competition dedicated to international commercial mediation. It is sponsored and organized by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) headquartered in Paris, France. Every year, the competition brings together more than 300 contestants and coaches as well as 150 mediators and mediation trainers, volunteers, sponsors and observers from around the world.
