(VOVworld) – The most advanced aircrafts, notably the civil carrier Boeing Dreamliner 787 and Airbus A350 XWB, and aeronautic and defense equipment are on display at the Singapore Airshow 2014. Opening on Tuesday in Changi, the show is Asia’s biggest exhibition of civil aviation and defense.

This year’s event sees the first attendance of Vietnam represented by the Aerospace Engineering Services Company (AESC) which provides aviation component maintenance and repair. Head of the Vietnamese delegation, Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang, witnessed the signing of the Memorandums of Understanding on training high-quality pilots between the AESC and Singapore’s Mil-Com Aerospace Group and New Zealand’s Eagle Flight Training.
