(VOVworld) – Vietnam has displayed its premium products at the Southern African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX) in Johannesburg city, South Africa from June 19-21. The 23rd SAITEX draws nearly 700 businesses from more than 30 countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Ten Vietnamese enterprises attended the trade exhibition to showcase housewares, furniture items, silk, ceramics, confectionery, and beverages. Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Le Huy Hoang said SAITEX is a great opportunity for Vietnamese companies to introduce Vietnamese export staples. The Ambassador hailed bilateral trade turnover of 1.2 billion USD as a bright spot of Vietnam’s economic activities in Africa.
