Vietnam, Australia prepare for senior leaders' visits
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Ngo Huong Nam has presented his credential to Australian Governor Peter Cosgrove, who praised the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year as a special opportunity to boost cooperation in all fields.

He said that Australia wished to lift up the bilateral comprehensive partnership for peace and prosperity in the Asia Pacific region. The Ambassador conveyed President Tran Dai Quang’s invitation to the Governor and his wife to visit Vietnam next year. He said Vietnam has prepared to welcome Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull in his visit to Vietnam and participation at the APEC Summit in Da Nang this November. He expected early preparation from both sides for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s visit to Australia next March to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
