Vietnam awarded places for Youth Olympics 2018
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam has earned 5 tickets to compete in the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Argentina this October.

Vietnam’s female weightlifting team were awarded one slot to compete in the upcoming Youth Olympic as they ranked 14th at the world junior weightlifting championship last April. Other ticket holders include Do Hong Ngoc, who won a silver medal in the world junior boxing championship in India, and Taekwondo martial artist Ho Thi Kim Ngan. Gymnasts Pham Nhu Phuong and Nguyen Van Khanh Phong, who are among the 8 best athletes of Asia, won the remaining 2 tickets.
