During the visit, Hang held meetings with Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, the Netherlands’ Climate Ambassador, and Steven Collet, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Partnership Forum for Green Growth and the Sustainable Development Goals (P4G) and Meike van Ginneken, the Netherlands' Water Ambassador.

Deputy Minister Hang urged the Netherlands to continue supporting Vietnam in bolstering its climate resilience, improving forecasting and prevention of flash floods and landslides, managing water resources sustainably, and advancing green and smart agriculture.

She also called for stronger cooperation in energy transition and green development. Hang expressed gratitude for the Netherlands' active role as a key partner of the P4G Forum and sought further Dutch assistance in preparing for the fourth P4G Summit, which Vietnam will host in 2025.

Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme extended his condolences for the loss of life and damage caused by Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam. Dutch officials reaffirmed their commitment to climate collaboration and suggested expanding partnerships in emerging fields such as high-tech sectors, renewable energy, and semiconductor chips. Assistant Minister Collet also proposed facilitating business delegation exchanges between the two countries to foster deeper ties.
