Vietnam, Bulgaria keen to develop bilateral ties

(VOVworld) – Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev met with Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan on Tuesday in Hanoi during his state visit to Vietnam.

Ms. Doan stressed that the year 2013 is of significance to Vietnam and Bulgaria, adding that the visit by President Plevneliev is a significant political and social event that manifests the strong traditional friendship between Vietnam and Bulgaria. President Plevneliev expressed his pleasure at the many great achievements Vietnam has made in its national construction and socio-economic development, adding that their strong ties will help move bilateral cooperation forward for the mutual benefit of both nations. 

The two also met with former Vietnamese students in Bulgaria and enjoyed a performance by Bulgarian artists.
