(VOVworld) - The 7th Meeting on Co-operation and Development between border provinces of Cambodia and Vietnam has opened in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting was co-chaired by Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Interior Sar Kheng. Both sides were pleased with the fine development in bilateral ties, including a two way trade turnover of more than 2.8 billion dollars last year. Border demarcation has been in positive progress while border social security is maintained. Both sides pledged to raise the two way trade turnover to 5 billion USD by 2017 and continued border cooperation for mutual development, peace and security. The next session of the meeting will take place in Cambodia next year.
