(VOVworld) – Quang Ninh province has raised 110,000 USD through a program called “Philanthropic circle” to support disabled people on the occasion of Vietnam's Day for People with Disability, April 18.

Since 2006 the program has called on philanthropists to help disabled people and orphans. Hoang Thanh, Chairman of the Patronage Association for Disabled People and Orphans, said: “The program “Philanthropic circle” has mobilized resources to support people with disabilities”.

On this occasion, Binh Phuoc province’s Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Patronage Association for Disabled People and Orphans organized charity.

Soc Trang province granted 41 scholarships to Agent Orange/dioxin victims with excellent academic results.
