Vietnam, China pledge enhanced cooperation in crime prevention

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh received Chinese Deputy Minister of State Security Tang Chao in Hanoi on Saturday, noting that cooperation between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and China’s Ministry of State Security has helped reinforce the countries’ strategic trust.

Earlier on Friday, Mr. Binh received Chinese Deputy Minister of Public Security Fu Zhenghua who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

Binh welcomed Fu’s visit during which the two sides will discuss issues of mutual concern. He added that Vietnam and China have obtained positive results in the fight against crimes, contributing to deepening their traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

Fu briefed the host on the results of cooperation between the Public Security Ministries of China and Vietnam, notably in crime prevention and protection of high-ranking leaders during mutual visits.
