Vietnam Coast Guard to conduct exchange with RoK counterpart
(VOVWORLD) - A Vietnamese Coast Guard vessel departed Hai Phong port on Sunday for an exchange program with the Korea Coast Guard to strengthen friendship, mutual understanding, and trust.
The Vietnamese delegation, led by Colonel Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Region 1, will make courtesy visits to leaders of the Korea Coast Guard, participate in sports exchanges, and explore cultural sites in Yeosu city.
They will also conduct joint training exercises with the Korea Coast Guard on search and rescue operations and fire fighting and prevention at sea.
